The photos on this page were taken during a trip I took to several eastern states and the District of Columbia in late September and early October 2014. The first photo is of Salem Lake in Winston-Salem North Carolina. I ran a 7-mile race around this lake and took third place for my age category. The next three were taken from the Glencairn Gardens in Rock Hill, South Carolina. I spent several hours in these gardens, including sitting under a tree and reading a book. The next image was taken at Silver Lake Park in Dover, Delaware. I spent a couple hours there walking through the trails and streets of the surrounding neighborhoods. The last four photos are of Rock Creek Park, an amazingly beautiful park in the middle of Washington, DC. I had a great several-mile jog in this park one morning!
