Route 11 in Washington State

These pictures were taken on Friday, April 2, 2004 on route 11 in Washington State. The route is south of the city of Bellingham. I had flown into Seattle earlier in the day. I was scheduled to speak at a conference in Vancouver, British Columbia the next day. It was cheaper to fly into Seattle and rent a car to drive into Canada. Along the drive up Interstate 5 toward the Canadian border, there were several scenic routes. Route 11 was one of those scenic routes.
