"I Was Right"

I was right!

I was right!
I can revel in my glee!
For I am not there
But the rain has already arrived.

I was right!
I can jump for joy!
Here it is sunny
But there the water reigns.

I was right!
I can shout it out!
Low pressure at home
As water cycles through.

I was right!
I could dance about
But yesterday’s rain
Has allowed my cold to grow.
