"Paradise"

Whistling past chilled flesh
Attempting to steel hats and scarves
From art enthusiasts and party goers,
The wind carries crystallized moisture
In this winter paradise

Yet the dance has ended.
No more windy games with snowy showers.
Hats and scarves snugly shield
From chilly breezes that still prance about.
Cold and sunny now.

Nothing melting here.
Cold and sun stays the course.
Spring, still a day away,
Only threatens the snow covered sight
For now our paradise still reigns.
